      Not enough of the right kind of protein is one more reason for sweet or empty carb cravings. People don't need huge quantities of protein but most people do need it three times per day, and a kind that works for them. Dark circles under the eyes is one indication of either not enough of the right protein, or not assimilating the protein consumed.
